2013 United Nations Climate Change Conferences held in Warsaw, Poland
About 9000 people attended the Warsaw Climate Change Conference 2013 during 11th-23rd, Nov. The most progress was made with regard to an international mechanism to provide most vulnerable populations against loss and damage by climate change and concerning forest protection. The conference decided to establish the REED + Warsaw Framework to support developing countries reduce green gas emission caused by deforestation and forest degradation. The USA, Norway and the UK government promised to provide $280 million support. The conference made final decisions on widely attended issues such as damage compensation and financial issues as well, according to China representatives.
