Paris Climate Agreement in focus at Entreprises pour l’Environnement’s annual event
The World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) recently presented Action2020 climate change business solutions at the annual CEO members’ dinner of France’s Entreprises pour l’Environnement (EpE).
EpE - member of the WBCSD’s Regional Network-- focused its event on the UN Climate Change talks (COP21) set to happen in Paris in 2015. Other speakers included France’s Ambassador in charge of the climate change negotiations, and representatives from the UN Global Compact and Fondation Nicolas Hulot. All presenters discussed with EpE members the possible and expected role for business in the successful construction of a new global agreement.
