China and U.S. will Strengthen Cooperation on Climate and Energy
In the seventh China-U.S. Strategic and Economic Dialogue, China and U.S. agreed to a package of cooperation projects on climate change and energy. Mr. Xi Zhenhua, Special Representative on Climate Change Issues, indicated that China and U.S. agreed to cooperate in 13 fields. There were already over 30 cooperation projects in 8 fields which were making progress. China and U.S. would strengthen cooperation on new fields such as shale gas, nuclear power, clean energy, carbon capture, use and storage, and green trade.
