Shanghai, China– November 18, 2013– BASF, the global leader in catalysis with unsurpassed expertise in developing innovative emission control technologies, sponsored and participated in the 2013 Energy Saving & Emission Reduction (ESER) Forum, held recently at the New International Expo Center in Shanghai, China. BASF representatives shared their expertise on meeting increasingly stringent emissions requirements for light and heavy duty vehicles.

New engine technologies, tightening emission regulations and fluctuating materials prices create challenges for effective emissions control. To address these challenges, including new Euro VI heavy duty diesel and Euro 6 light duty vehicle emissions regulations, BASF showcased its latest technologies at the ESER Forum.
