UC Davis has successfully hosted the 14th Biennial Conference on Transportation and Energy Summit in Monterey, sponsored by Energy and Alternative Fuels Committee under the Transportation Research Board. Focused on “Climate Policy and Energy Boom”, the 14th summit offered a platform for deep conversations among transportation experts from around the world. Focused topics include national and regional approaches to reducing oil utility and greenhouse gas emission in transportation industries.
A China sub-forum was hosted by Dr. Feng An, the President at the Innovation Center for Energy and Transportation (iCET). As guest speakers, Professor Xiliang Zhang , Professor Kebin He from Tsinghua University and Mr. Michael Wang, director at Argonne National Laboratory introduced and discussed issues related to transportation development and emission reduction policies in China.
