China’s First Regulation on Energy Saving Exchange Released

On 4th, Nov., Shandong Tentative Plan on Energy Saving Exchange was released. As China’s first regulation on energy cap-and-trade, the plan clearly identified energy saving and it exchange roles, principle, subject, manner and place, etc. The first energy saving exchange was accomplished before the release between 2 Yantai Companies and principals of trustees with the total volume of 23t standard coal at the price of 240 CNY per ton.
