China Releases its First Climate Change Strategy with 3 Objectives

On 18th, Nov., China released a national plan on combating climate change at the UN Climate Change Conference in the Polish capital Warsaw, requiring local department to adjust and perfect the present policy and regulations to establish and improve the institutional system, financial source, technology backup, and international cooperation. Based on the fully estimates of climate change’s present and future impact on China, the Strategy identifies the guiding idea and principle to tackle with climate change and put forward 3 objectives in 2020: significant adjusting capability, full implementation of key tasks, basic formation of regional layout.
