Shanghai Officially Launch Carbon Emission Trading

On 26th, Nov., Shanghai officially launched carbon emission trading, which initially enrolled 191 industrial and non-industrial enterprises in Shanghai in the managing scope of carbon emission quota. According to the plan, the 191 enterprises during the trial period from 2013 to 2015 includes industrial sector such as steel, chemical industry, electricity and non-industrial sector such as hotel, shopping center, port, airport, aviation etc.
