Joint U.S.-China Statement on Climate Change Released

The Joint U.S.-China Statement on Climate Change was released in Beijing on November 12. The two leaders announced the actions for coping with climate change after 2020. US will meet the emission reduction target of 26%-28% in 2025 compared with 2005, and strive to reduce to 28%. China plans to peak its emission in 2030 or as early as possible; and its non-fossil fuels accounts for 20% of the primary energy consumption in 2030.
