On June 12, Mr. Li Keqiang, member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the CPC, Premier of the State Council, and head of the National Leading Group on Climate Change, Energy Saving and Emission Reduction, stated at the group conference that “China had become the No.1 country in new energy and renewable energy, making concrete contributions to the global climate change fight. Coping with climate change is the common responsibility of the international community, and the basic requirement of scientific development.”
