2015 Energy Law Conference was hosted by China Energy Law Research Society in Heilongjiang Province recently. Attendees conducted several days of discussion on topics including “Energy Reform, Energy Safety and Energy Law”, “Repeal, Reform and Establishment of Energy Law, and Construction of Energy Law System”, “Energy Legislation and Regulation”, and “Comparison of Energy Legislation among China and Other Countries”. Advice and suggestions to related departments were collected to facilitate energy legislation. This year, national department issued a document, stressing the urgency of modifying power regulation. It is predicted that energy legislation in China may enter a new stage.
