Representatives from the government, international organizations, financial institutes, academies and business, including Department of Pollution Prevention and Control, Ministry of Environmental Protection, Department of Energy Conservation and Integrated Utilization, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, Ministry of Commerce, China-ASEAN Environmental Cooperation Center, Environmental Defense Fund, Walmart, and Industrial Bank, gathered in Dongguan to convene International Forum on Green Supply Chain Cooperation. The Forum presented Green Supply Chain – Dongguan Initiative, released Green Supply Chain – Dongguan Index Framework, and initiated the preparation of Green Supply Chain – Dongguan Pilot Project. Dongguan Municipal government signed a cooperation agreement with China-ASEAN Environmental Cooperation Center.
