Recently, Standardization Administration of China has held a press conference to release 11 standards of the greenhouse gas management, including the General Principles of Accounting and Report for Industrial Enterprises’ Greenhouse Gas Emissions and calculation and reporting requirements of greenhouse gas emissions for ten key industries such as electricity, steel, civic aviation, chemicals and cements, etc. New standards has absorbed substantial experience from pilot carbon emission trading. Meanwhile, it has referred to related international standards to solve problems in terms of the standard absent of greenhouse gas emissions, disunity of calculating methods and other problems effectively and achieve a great breakthrough from zero to one on national standards for the greenhouse gas emissions management.
