State-owned Capital To Increase Investments in Five Sectors including Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Sector

On June 30, Xiao Yaqing, Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) under the State Council, gave a report on state-owned asset management and system reform at the 21st Session of the Standing Committee of the Twelfth National People's Congress on behalf of the State Council, conveying more positive signs for the undergoing state-owned enterprise reform. In next step, state-owned enterprise reform will be focused on increasing investments of state-owned capital in national defense and military industry, major infrastructures, important resources, public services and other sectors. On the other hand, professional integration bonded by stock right will be launched and strategic industry alliance will be established in strategic emerging industries such as Internet, intelligent manufacturing, information technology, energy conservation and environment protection and ocean engineering to foster new driving forces for economic growth.Click here to read the Chinese news
