On December 25, sponsored by the China Energy Conservation Association, China Energy Saving and Low Carbon Development Forum 2015 was held in Beijing. Themed by “Energy Saving, Green Development”, the forum discussed about some hot issues such as the construction of ecological civilization, green and low-carbon development, technology innovation, industrial green transformation, the development of energy conservation and environmental protection industry, buildings efficiency, smart city, haze governance and dealing with climate change as well as the goals for total amount control on coal, etc. The forum has analyzed the energy and environment situation under economic new normal and the opportunities and challenges confronted by energy conservation and emissions reduction, discussed the strategies to accelerate the green and low-carbon development and formulated the new thoughts and new measures concerning to the speeding up of energy conservation and emissions reduction as well as come up with suggestion and opinions for making the goals in the 13th Five Year Plan towards energy saving and emissions reduction.
