Green Book of Eco-cites: The Report on the Development of China’s Eco-cities was released

On June 26, Green Book of Eco-cites: The Report on the Development of China’s Eco-cities edited by Chinese Academy of Social Science was issued in Beijing. The Green Book conducted a comprehensive ranking analyze on the 2012 health situation of 116 ecological city in China, analyzed and evaluated six types of ecological cities, such as environment friendly, resource saving, economy recycling, landscape leisure, green consumption and comprehensive innovation. The Green Book believed, the ecological city construction is in full swing, but related mechanism has not formatted and the construction and development level is still low. So China is still at the primary stage of ecological city construction and needs further reform and development.
