Chinese Peasants and Workers’ Democratic Party of Hebei Province found in research that every day, as much as 21 thousand tons of domestic waste are generated by cities in Hebei alone. However, only Shijiazhuang, Tangshan, Qinghuangdao, and Chengde have garbage power plants. Most of the remaining cities in Hebei adopt the traditional way of landfill, which pose a danger to the future environment. Thus, the Party appealed to popularize co-processing solid waste in cement kilns as soon as possible, and to build more model cities.
