MOHURD: more than 130 cities has made sponge city construction plans

Mr. Lu Kehua, Vice Minister of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, introduced that more than 130 cities has made sponge city construction plans. Provinces like Jiangsu, Anhui, and Liaoning have issued instructions to build sponge city. The State Council Executive Committee put forward five requirements on September 29th: to make an overall requirement, to strengthen guidance and leading, to coordinate construction, to make preferable policies, and to practice plans.
