China accelerated new urbanization construction, boosting economy by expanding domestic needs

Mr. Hu Zucai, Deputy Director of NDRC, noted recently that 64 new urbanization pilot projects in the first batch have achieved preliminary results in terms of household registration system reform and the citizenization of migrant workers, and urban investment and financing institutional reform. However, some pilot projects did not implement fully or practice full reform. Mr. Hu indicated that China would accelerate new urbanization construction and boost economic growth.
