Recently, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China printed and distributed the Technical Guideline for Passive Green Buildings with Ultra-low Energy Consumption (Trial) (Residential Buildings) (hereinafter referred to as guideline). The guideline specifies the definition of China's passive green buildings with ultra-low energy consumption, technique indexes in different climate zones as well as key technique points for design, construction, operation and assessment, and provides guidance for the construction of passive green buildings with ultra-low energy consumption across China.
