National Development and Reform Commission: the permanent population urbanization rate will be up to 60% till 2020

At the press conference held by State Council Information Office of the People’s Republic of China on November 3, Xu Shaoshi, Director of National Development and Reform Commission, exposed that the 5th Plenary Session specially proposed the goal of accelerating an increase in registered population urbanization rate, urging that each province (autonomous region, city) must bring forward a household registration system reform program by the end of the year.
