From the afternoon of November 6 to the morning of November 8, the Special Panel of Beijing Forum 2015—“New Urbanization: Global Experience and China’s Way” was held in Qiulin Lecture Hall, School of International Studies, Peking University. Five topics, including “lessons learned from European and American urbanization roads and reference significance”, “experience and way of urbanization development and resident life quality improvement”, “thoughts on urbanization construction and development modes since China’s reform and opening-up”, “coordination mechanism and way of urban and rural harmonious development, urban and rural construction and ecological protection” and “adaptation to ‘economic development mode change’ and ‘China’s urbanization construction system way of new urbanization strategy’” were discussed at the special panel so as to assist China’s urbanization construction.
