Revised Law of Prevention and Control of Atmospheric Pollution in China has been enforced on the first day of January, 2016. This so-called “most severe law of prevention and control of atmospheric pollution in history” has not only doubled the number of items but also modifies all the current articles of laws. Revised Law of Prevention and Control of Atmospheric Pollution has expanded the total discharge control and the scope of pollutant discharge license to nationwide. It has allocated the aggregate indicators specifically and carried out the regional restricted approval for regions where have exceeded the total volume or have not met standards tasks. And the principals in these regions would be interviewed. In addition, it would establish a mechanism for joint prevention and control for key areas.
