CBCSD advocates CSR and increases the awareness in enterprises through seminars, standard compilation and advocacy, trainings and other activities, helping enterprises to play a better role in establishing a harmonious society. The project aims for the common improvement in the business community though sharing, learning and practices.
Since 2006, CSCBD, together with its member companies, initiated and carried out the “CSR 1+3” project, which works under the “snowball effect” that each member company engages three other enterprises along its supply chain in CSR activities thus not only embeds CSR concept into their own business strategy and operational plan, but also passes it along the supply chain to their business partners in various industrial sectors.
